This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work across the two kinds of purchases ShukrAI offers: in-app digital purchases (processed through Google Play Billing) and ShukrAI Seva — real-world rituals, guidance, and physical items (processed through our third-party payment processor, currently PayU). It should be read alongside our Terms of Use.
Sphatik and other in-app purchases are billed and fulfilled through Google Play Billing. These purchases are for digital content delivered within the app, and refund requests for them are handled under Google Play's own refund policy — request a refund directly from the Google Play Store (Play Store → Order history → the purchase → Report a problem). ShukrAI does not process these refunds directly, since we never receive or hold your payment details for Play purchases.
One-time bookings — poojas, daan, havans, and other Seva Bhandar items — are scheduled for a specific ritual date or the next sankalpa list. You may cancel and receive a full refund any time before your booking has entered that scheduled ritual or sankalpa list. Once a pujari has been assigned, materials arranged, or the ritual performed, the booking is non-refundable — the same real-world commitments that apply to Seva subscriptions apply here.
Consecrated or personalised items — such as a Rudraksha mala, Shree Yantra, prasad, bhasma, or ritual oil — are prepared specifically for you and cannot be resold, so we do not accept "change of mind" returns once an item has shipped.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, message us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the item and packaging, and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund.
If an order has not shipped within a reasonable time and you no longer wish to wait, contact us on WhatsApp and we will issue a full refund for that item.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (the same UPI ID, card, or bank account processed via PayU). Refunds are typically credited within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider's own processing time — a step outside our control.
